Why should you join the National Honors Society?

Scholarships up to $6,000 to fund Professional School (Medical, PA, Pharm, etc.)

Run for executive board positions only open to national initiates (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian)

AED National Conference attendance every other year

You receive a cord at graduation!

Get to attend the Initiation Ceremony in February with family or a friend
How to Join the National Honors Society
Requirements:

As of January 1, 2026, you’ve completed at LEAST 3 semesters of undergraduate course work at a university (you will be a second semester sophomore as of Spring 2026).

3.3 GPA in Science classes such as chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics

3.3 Overall GPA on a 4.0 scale

To show your presence with AED, you must have been an active member in a local AED club for two semesters or gold for one semester
If requirements are met:

Submit a typed and printed paper copy of your application in an envelope with the $75 CASH to our president, Evan Schneider (erschneider4@wisc.edu)
